Craig Slatin

Craig Slatin is a professor emeritus in the Department of Community Health and Sustainability, Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences, University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Dr. Slatin’s research has addressed worker health and safety training programs and healthcare worker health and safety issues, as well as health disparities among healthcare workers in hospitals and nursing homes (PI of a six-year study with a grant from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health). He is the editor of New Solutions, a Journal of Environmental and Occupational Health Policy and is the author of Environmental Unions: Labor and the Superfund.

Dr. Slatin is an active retiree member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association (MTA), where he is a member of the coordinating committee of the MTA Climate Action Network.
